A diagnosis usually arrives with a list of things to do next and very little explanation of how any of it works. If you are looking into ABA therapy in Westchester and want to know what it involves, who pays for it, and how soon your child can start, the answers are below.

Westchester is familiar ground for us. Krystal studied psychology at FIU, right next to Tamiami Park, and our team now works with families all across the neighborhood. Parents are part of the team from day one, with practical coaching so progress carries on between sessions.

Mobile ABA therapy in Westchester

Our ABA therapy is mobile, so it fits into your week instead of adding a commute. We work with families along Bird Road, Coral Way and Galloway Road, around FIU, and in neighboring Sweetwater, Fontainebleau, Coral Terrace, Olympia Heights, Westwood Lakes and Tamiami.

Step Up for Students is a scholarship rather than an insurance plan, and we work with families using it. To see how the process works, read how we handle insurance.

How to get started

Three steps. The paperwork in the middle is ours to handle.

Talk to us

Start with a free phone call. Tell us about your child, ask anything, and we will see whether we are a good fit.

We verify coverage

We check your benefits and take care of the authorization with your plan, and let you know where things stand.

Therapy begins

A BCBA assesses your child, writes a plan around their strengths and goals, and sessions begin at home.

Who you will be working with

Krystal Conde, M.S., BCBA · Founder and Lead Behavior Analyst

Born and raised in Miami, Krystal studied Psychology at Florida International University, here in Westchester, and Applied Behavior Analysis at Nova Southeastern University, with a master's degree focused on developmental disabilities.

Caseloads stay small so every BCBA knows each child's program closely. Krystal grew up alongside a close family member with disabilities, and that experience still shapes how the practice treats families. More about Krystal and the team.

Common questions from Westchester families

Do you provide in-home ABA therapy in Westchester?

Yes. We come to you, so sessions happen at home in Westchester, at your child's school, or out in the neighborhood. You never have to drive to a clinic.

What insurance do you accept?

We are in network with Florida Blue (including BlueOptions, BlueSelect, myBlue, BlueCare, BlueChoice and SimplyBlue plans), Aetna, Cigna, TRICARE, ComPsych and Curative. Families using Step Up for Students, a scholarship rather than insurance, are welcome too. We take care of verification and authorization.

How quickly can my child start?

There is no waitlist, so the main factor is how long your insurance takes to authorize services. We handle that process and keep you posted along the way.

Do I need a diagnosis first?

For insurance to cover ABA, your child generally needs an autism diagnosis. If you are still waiting on an evaluation, or you have a report you are not sure how to read, give us a call and we will help you figure out the next step.

What ages do you work with?

We work with children from 18 months to 18 years. Many of the families we see are just starting out with toddlers and preschoolers, when early support has the biggest impact.

Do you offer therapy in Spanish?

Yes. Our team works in English and Spanish, so tell us which language your family uses at home when you call.
