How to start ABA therapy in Miami
If this is all new, here is the path most families follow, and where we help along the way.
-
Get an autism diagnosis
Most insurance plans need a diagnosis from a qualified provider, such as a developmental pediatrician, psychologist or neurologist, before they cover ABA. If your child is still waiting on an evaluation, we can talk through your options.
-
Check your insurance
We verify your benefits with Florida Blue, Aetna, Cigna, TRICARE, ComPsych or Curative, or help you use a Step Up For Students scholarship. See how we handle insurance.
-
Meet a BCBA for an assessment
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst gets to know your child, talks with you about what daily life looks like and identifies the skills to work on first.
-
Get a treatment plan
Goals are built around your child's strengths and your family's routines. Your insurance reviews the plan and approves the hours.
-
Start sessions at home
Therapy begins at home, then carries over to school and the community as your child is ready, with parent coaching along the way. See all our ABA services.

Questions parents ask before reaching out
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. The first call and the consultation with a BCBA are free, and there is no obligation to start services.
Do I need a diagnosis before I fill this out?
No. If your child has not been evaluated yet, tell us on the form. Most insurance plans need an autism diagnosis before they cover ABA, and we can explain how to get one.
What if I am not sure about my insurance?
Choose Not sure on the form. We check your benefits for you and explain what your plan covers before anything starts.
How long does it take to start?
There is no waitlist on our side. Most of the time before the first session goes to insurance approval, which we handle for you while keeping you updated.
Where do sessions happen?
Mostly at home, and also at school and out in the community as your child is ready. We come to families across Miami-Dade County.
What ages do you work with?
Children from 18 months to 18 years, from toddlers who were just diagnosed to teenagers working toward more independence.
Can we talk in Spanish?
Yes. Our team works in English and Spanish. Choose your preferred language on the form and we will call you in that language.
